Welcome to the start of an exciting new school year! As we kick off this journey, I'd like to share a few important reminders to ensure a smooth and successful start for everyone:
- Campus Arrival Time: Please ensure students do not arrive before 8:00 am with the exception of "0" period students. This helps us maintain a safe and orderly environment for all students.
- No-Cell Phone Policy: OSA is a no-cell phone campus. Students must keep their cell phones turned off and stowed in their backpacks throughout the school day, including Envisioneer time. This policy is strictly enforced to provide an undistracted learning environment. Any student found using a cell phone will have it confiscated, and parents must collect it from the office. We appreciate your support in adhering to this policy.
- Bullying and Harassment: Our school has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying and harassment. It is crucial that we work together to create a safe & respectful environment for all students.
- Daily Planner Checks: Students should check their planners daily with their parents or guardians to stay updated on homework, class assignments, & expectations.
- Attendance & Tardies: Regular attendance is vital for your child's academic success. Each missed day or period can impact their learning & overall progress. Additionally, punctuality is essential; arriving on time for each class ensures students complete critical instruction. Frequent tardiness can disrupt learning and affect academic performance. Please ensure your child arrives at school and to each class on time.
