At Ocala STEAM Academy, we inspire lifelong learners through hands-on experiences in creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. Students access advanced STEAM resources, including:

• STEAM Center of Innovation (SCI): In the Paxton-Patterson CTE Lab, students explore career pathways through hands-on learning, gaining real-world skills aligned with feeder high school programs.
• MESA (Math Engineering Science Achievement): MESA’s college prep program turns STEM concepts into innovation. Students compete at San Jose State’s MESA Day, designing gliders, bridges, and human-centered projects that build STEM skills.
• Verizon Innovation Lab: Our high-tech STEM lab immerses students in AI, coding, 3D printing, filmmaking, immersive media, and engineering. Through design challenges, students develop critical skills to thrive in Silicon Valley and beyond.
• Visual and Performing Arts: Ocala students explore band, drumline, choir, piano, and music production, showcasing talents at local and regional events.
